Subsistence Marketplace Journal and Knowledge/Practice Portal Online Workshop Series:
Adding Value Before Submission And After Publication
Adding Value Before Submission And After Publication
With the launch of our new journal, we organized a series of workshops that begin to implement our vision of supporting the entire value chain from before submission of content to after publication. This included discussions and exercises to articulate how to move toward submissions that would be considered for the review process. It also covered connections to practice and practitioners that will be useful both before submission and after publication. Indeed, we believe that such forums can provide the impetus for new collaborations and projects and will emphasize interactions across disciplines, sectors, and regions.
The frequency of these workshops will be once every 3 months to garner sufficient interest and generate publicity. The duration will be for 2 hours. We have selected the first Sunday in March, June, September, and December at GMT -5 (US Central Daylight Time for much of the year).
